"But being paid,--what will compare with it? The urbane activity with which a man receives money is really marvellous, considering that we so earnestly believe money to be the root of all earthly ills, and that on no account can a monied man enter heaven. Ah! how cheerfully we consign ourselves to perdition!" -Ishmael Last.fm

Hey. I may get dates and times and small details mixed up or dropped off, but for the most part I know what I am talking about. :p

Though this is rarely true for me, I actually like this cover better than the Tears for Fears version. This version has a lot more energy in it.
Funny thing is, I LOVED Tears for Fears. Still have their album.

No offense, but ...

I actually despised the original tears for fears song. You know how you associate songs with people?? The people I associated it with were assholes. Anyway, I always skipped it for the first year I had The Sickness. I discovered that I loved Disturbed's version when I was in someone else's car & they didn't skip it. I don't need to tell you my favorite part. I LOVED Tears for Fears and still play them to remember some of nostalgia. You know, from my life being a teenager. I was quite happy when I heard Disturbed play it, which made me like Disturbed even more. Whether or not you consider me an asshole is up to you.

No, I don't consider everyone who loved Tears for Fears to be an asshole. The song was just associated with these particular assholes I had known in high school. So it reminds me of them. But at least now I can listen to the Disturbed version & like it.
