Good to see Patton up there not a terrible list i've seen worse. As for dabid not being on there, I'm not in the least surprised.

"But being paid,--what will compare with it? The urbane activity with which a man receives money is really marvellous, considering that we so earnestly believe money to be the root of all earthly ills, and that on no account can a monied man enter heaven. Ah! how cheerfully we consign ourselves to perdition!" -Ishmael Last.fm

Only ones on this list that I would place on such a list, though their order (just for these) would be Patton, Dickinson, Davis, Taylor.

Jame Hetfield is only number five?? WTF... he's like THE Top Metal Frontman, right? Well David should be nr. 1 but... this is stupid. He definitely deserves to be on that list. And what's Eric Adams doing on the list anyway (I don't like Manowar)? Corey Taylor is nr. 17?? Okay I'll make my own list.
1. David Draiman (DISTURBED) 2. James Hetfield (METALLICA) 3. Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR) 4. Johnathan Davis (KORN) 5. Philip Labonte (ALL THAT REMAINS) 6. Adam Gontier (THREE DAYS GRACE) 7. Serj Tankian (SYSTEM OF A DOWN) 8. Alexi Laiho (CHILDREN OF BODOM) 9. Anders Fridén (IN FLAMES) 10. Marilyn Manson (MM)
Yeah. That's my Top Ten.
(I'd put Aaron Lewis from Staind and Shaun Morgan from Seether on there but they're not really metal, are they?)

Is she not right? Is she insane? Will she now run for her life in the battle that ends this day, now that she lied to me?

Look inside,See what has become of her. Hiding within again. Can she pick herself up again? its just to difficult and arduous to let go.Homicide Flashes through her mind again. No more pain,Take control. If he raises his hand again...she'll find the freedom then in killing him.The world will see that she's had enough

I don't really think David belongs on this list. He's a good vocalist, but of these bands, Disturbed isn't really in-league with the ones I recognize. I mean, Disturbed has a different sounds. David's too melodic to be in the top 30 best metal vocalists of all time. Just sayin'.

In an age of nothing, at a time when we stand at the brink of our own destruction -- Strengthen your belief in yourself, in the future of humanity, in the things of this world which cannot easily be perceived. Awaken that which lies dormant now within your soul. Re-ignite the flame of your consciousness, and measure the strength of your conviction. Reveal the lie. Renounce your hatred. Seek, find, and embrace the truths you are fortunate enough to discover. Cherish them, use them to anchor you in the sea of chaos that is the world we live in. When twilight draws near, when you are pushed to the very limits of your soul, when it seems that all you have left are the dead remains of the fabric of your life -- Believe

Yeah, I agree it actually irritates me when someone says that Disturbed is heavy metal. That is one of the reasons why I love Disturbed so much because you can understand what he is saying!!

Well, David himself calls the band a heavy metal band though he admits their sound is probably more classifiable as hard rock these days. Remember, "heavy metal" used to be not-screaming music. Black metal and Death metal are the terms most often used to identify the screaming metal.
