I think this song has the best solo on Ten Thousand Fists. Live versions of this song are good too.

Hmm. I'd say Stricken is #2 for me on TTF. Land of Confusion has the #1 spot.

I don't know what my top 3 are by rank, but they are Land of Confusion, Ten Thousand Fists, and Stricken.

I thought that the Ten Thousand Fists one was way too short. I like a good 30 second or longer solo.

Ten Thousand Fists' solo is 18 seconds
Land of Confusion's solo is 19-20 seconds
But I do think that the Land of Confusion solo has a lot more in it than Ten Thousand Fists.

Wow. I didn't know that Land of Confusion's solo was so short!
You are right about the last part, the solo in Ten Thousand Fists doesn't have a lot to it.

Stricken is more popular though. I think it is the best selling single from TTF.

The meaning of this song is really not hard to work out..But heres the meaning anyway from the site "songfacts"
"Stricken means a wound or being hurt by an action of someone or something. In this song, the lead singer is hurt by something a woman did to him. When he says, "I'm crippled by all that you've done, into the abyss will I run," it means that he can't forgive himself for what was happened, as if it was his fault for his misfortune."
Makes good sense... I love this song, when I listen to it I think of this good friend of mine who has been hurt emotionally in the past by some women.
