Ice Age 3.

mediocre.  Undecided

someone say something hilarious? just feel like being awsome? Click on the blue heart next to the post of a person to give him/her/it more reputation.
also, it works both ways, if someone is being a douche feel free to give negative rep. (though no one likes a negative nancy so try and keep things positive.)

Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Corniest movie ever...

In an age of nothing, at a time when we stand at the brink of our own destruction -- Strengthen your belief in yourself, in the future of humanity, in the things of this world which cannot easily be perceived.  Awaken that which lies dormant now within your soul.  Re-ignite the flame of your consciousness, and measure the strength of your conviction. Reveal the lie. Renounce your hatred. Seek, find, and embrace the truths you are fortunate enough to discover. Cherish them, use them to anchor you in the sea of chaos that is the world we live in. When twilight draws near, when you are pushed to the very limits of your soul, when it seems that all you have left are the dead remains of the fabric of your life -- Believe

I liked the first one, second one was gewd, but the third one struck me as a tad stupid, especially since, beings as I am a nerd and actually pay attention to this kinda stuff, it was a bit off chronologically, considering dinosaurs came WAAAAY before the Ice Age

Lol.  I love Friday the 13th, for what it's worth.  Despite the flaws, they're pretty good movies (I'm not talking about the later ones Tongue).  The newest one was GREAT, and for once a Friday movie WASN'T plagued by countless retconned plotlines and corny characters/dialogue!

But in short, no I was not expecting more.  Friday movies, in a word, all suck.  As long as you don't count the first few and the latest one Tongue

Yeah, the first one (without Jason) and the new one are both really good

Part II was really good, too.  I don't really remember Part III cause I was 12 when I last saw it.  Part IV was GREAT though, I could never forget it (first Friday movie I saw).  After there it all went downhill.  Considering Part V isn't even series canon technically (retconning ftw  Face Palm), and parts VI, VII, and VIII were all plagued by more retconning and ridiculous characters and plot elements... Part VI consisted of Jason being awakened.  The rest of the movie was him killing characters who we hadn't even seen before he killed them.  That lasted for maybe an hour, each kill with no anticipation... Then Jason gets thrown to the bottom of the lake.  Horrible.  Part VII was pretty good, but ridiculous.  Camp Forest Green was retconned back to Camp Blood for whatever reason, and Jason is freed by psychic powers?  Then a dead-but-not-decayed dad pulled him back under?  Face Palm  I won't even get into Jason Takes Manhattan.

Gotta admit I loved FreddyvJason and Jason X, though.  Then the new one.  The new one is just a testament that this series needs to be recreated, without each movie retconning the previous one, and without a super-psycho Jason.  Derek Mears was the best Jason I've seen yet, and it helped that Jason actually seemed human, and not undead.  Yes

I am down back to zero
Never thought I'd need this place, again

Lead me back to the beginning

I've been wanting to see the Red Dragon forever. It looked pretty awesome.

"But being paid,--what will compare with it? The urbane activity with which a man receives money is really marvellous, considering that we so earnestly believe money to be the root of all earthly ills, and that on no account can a monied man enter heaven.
