You're slow on the uptake, Zap. I've known about it for like two weeks..

also, it works both ways, if someone is being a douche feel free to give negative rep. (though no one likes a negative nancy so try and keep things positive.)

Tool was one of the very first Rock/Alternative bands I ever heard, and I loved them and still do. Always will be one of my top favorites, and I love Maynard's voice, his lyrics, and his musical vision and talent. He is an extremely talented man, and has done a lot in the music world. Him and Tool have been very influential.

I love Tool. My friend got me into them, and I've even found other bands I love because of Tool's influence.

Old thread is old, but new news:

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=139213

Tool with some tour dates and (according to the article) hard at work on new material for a 5th full-length album.

SLOW.

I can't believe you didn't know this, man. I showed DH stuff about that weeks ago. I just kinda assumed you'd know, so I didn't mention it to you.

I'd heard rumors about a new album, but most have been largely unconfirmed. This just came out yesterday and the newsletter came out the day before, so if you heard about it weeks ago, I'd reckon you're clairvoyant. The dates have been scattered out, though.

I didn't know exactly what was in the thing you posted, but I know awhile ago a member of Tool confirmed they were working on a new album while Maynard was touring with Puscifier, and I knew about the tour dates (Unless they added more?). So yeah, it was confirmed awhile ago.

Did you even read this? The album news awhile ago was a rumor, this one came in a newsletter confirming that they were working on it 3 days a week. As for the dates, read the bold. It means more have been added sporadically.
