I didn't even like them when I didn't know music.
Too many pop-punk fans at my school. Too. Fucking. Many.
No -core kids?

Oh no, we gots those, too. The ones that listen to Metalcore are at least decent musicians (the ones in my guitar class, at least), and aside from the very questionable taste in generic Hot Topic Metalcore bands, they're an ok bunch. The small group of Deathcore fans range from eh, I'd rather not, to no.
But the place is literally crawling with emo/pop-punk.

Back in the 80's (no offense) metal was really the prime music. Yeah rap was getting its roots going but metal was the way back then. That and that was the end of the true muscle cars

"Metal" was around as early as the 70's as well. Zep, Sabbath, Metallica were all around in the 70's.

Really exceptionally good Metal has never really gotten much attention. Biggest cases I can think of are when Heavy Metal was first starting with Black Sabbath and the like, with a few other Traditional bands like Iron Maiden, and the old-school Death Metal scenes that originated from what was left of old Thrash.
That said, I'm willing to bet that your equivalent of "scene-kids" were much less annoying.

That was when metal was more "real" as opposed to the 80's. The 80's became more of either, metal or "pusshunt" metal. Elochai and Knight, I am so fucking glad I'm no longer your age. No "offense" on the 80's. I know I'm old.

Slayer, Maiden, et. al. were excellent. They live on today, which says something for fans of today. As far as the "scene kids", I obviously don't know what your seeing, but there were a shitload of annoying "scene kids" in my day. Holy fuck, did I just write "in my day"?

My brother has an 87 trans am GTA, thing can't do a burnout, it just wants to go And as far as 80's metal goes, I wasn't referring to hair metal, I never really got into that, I'm more into metalica, megadeth, anthrax, iron maiden, and Judas priest.

But girls walking around like whores is attractive, dood. Obvs. I guess I'm alone in that for the most part, I like high school? I mean, I dislike aspects of it, but overall, it doesn't bother me? I guess I have friends unless Knutfailius.

Eh, I liked it when I had a reason for wanting to go, but she changed a lot and shit went down and now I really don't care either way.
As far as the girls walking around dressed like whores, that would be nice if any of the ones doing it were attractive.
