This in my opinion is what the song means. It's about the cold and callous nature of the world. Desire for departure from the aspects of life that make human beings dehumanized. Without feeling or emotion. Desentized to love, pain, life or death.

I dont think thi song is dark at all...i think its just like prayer.....like its a prayer to God or something to take him away from the world because its getting to bad
